ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

We are greatly indebted to Tom Wells for his tireless organizing and tour guiding. Through Tom's efforts and the good offices of Dave Conway, we met with many of the Clivia greats of California.

Tom Wells with great encouragement, advice, and assistance from Di Smith, planned the first annual NACS Meeting of Members and the Fullerton Arboretum Clivia Display. The meeting had over 30 members in attendance. The Clivia Display was also well attended. NACS added 12 new members, and we sold lots of clivia plants.

Eric Anderson and William McClelland donated many plants to the Society for sale; and Monterey Bay Nursery, Mr. Zhu through Jason Qian, and Wu Jin through Ms. Wang Fang sold the Society some really fine plants at wholesale. Most were sold, but a few good plants remain and will be offered for sale again soon.

Photos were by several members of the tour group, including Barbara Qureshi and Stuart Hill, but most were taken either by Tom Wells or Jim Shields, usually using Jim's digital camera. These pages are the fault of Jim Shields alone, at least so far.
