Harold's description from the book "Clivias" about 'Munchkin':

"This, the smallest specimen of Clivia from Conway stables, is a very desirable miniature cultivar. The entire plant in flower is often less than 7 1/2 inches (18.75 cm) tall. Leaves get to be 7 inches (18 cm) long and 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm) wide. This cultivar carries a small umbel of six to eight very shapely flowers on a 4-inch (10-cm) peduncle. Tepals overlap, and the flowers are rounded and full with a strong mid-orange outer section and a large creamy yellow throat. Flowers are 1 1/4 inches (3.1 cm) in diameter, and petals are less than 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide. The flowers have rather unsual petals that are rounded but with notched tips, and the sepals are pointed. My plant does not appear to produce fertile pollen, although it does produce seed."
