·        Victorian Peach Strain (Victorian Peach is the name given to a "seed strain" and not to vegetative clones.  Hence the actual plant up for auction could have lighter or darker flowers than those show in the picture below.)

 The auction will start on November 29 at 9:00 AM EST and close on December 14 at 10:00 PM EST.  It was a challenge for the board to decide how to run the auction as a good number of our members do not currently have email access.  Here is what we have come up with:  bids may be placed via email to the Society secretary, Marc Hamel, at msh@hlstudio.com or they may be phoned in to my home number of 978-355-4933.  If you email a bid PLEASE put “NACS auction” in the subject line so that no bid accidentally gets rejected by some spam filters.  Also give the auction # for the item on which you are placing a bid. I will keep a list here of all bids received and will try to notify bidders as soon as possible if they have been outbid via return email.    I will also try to update this  page with the current high bid twice a day.  Members who call by phone will be told if their bid is a current winning bid.  In the event that 2 people place the same high bid, the bid that was first received will be considered the winner.  There will be an opening minimum of $10.00 on each plant with minimum increments of $5.00.  We have also added some seeds to the auction, please see below.

Seeds -   We have added a good number of seeds to the auction.  These seeds have been donated through the generosity of a couple of our members and a number of overseas growers. There is no minimum opening bid for the seed packets.  I will try to include as many helpful pictures here as possible.  Some of these seeds are already available and a few, such as S10 (Doris x Sabrina Delphine) will be available as soon as the berries ripen.

Doris                                 Sabrina Delphine   S10 'Doris' is one of the finest red flowered clivias in cultivation. It was pollinated with 'Sabrina Delphine', another of David Conway's fabulous reds. This cross should produce some very interesting reds and red-oranges. Even more interesting will be the F2 plants from this cross.

The g x m orange knight, m x g, and m x c best red, are all interspecifics that the seeds will come from. I plan to mix the seeds in the packets so that the successful bidders get a "mixed bag" of interspecifics.
